Welcome to Fairfield Animal Hospital, an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited practice. Our veterinary practice is limited to small animals. Our staff takes great pride in providing personalized care for you and your pet.
We are committed to providing convenient client service and to caring for your pets as if they were our own. We are here as your partner in providing your pet with modern preventive health care programs, state-of-the-art medical treatment, and surgical laser procedures.
Q. What does it mean?
A: The American Animal Hospital Association is the only organization that accredits animal hospitals throughout the U.S. and Canada. AAHA-accredited hospitals voluntarily choose to be evaluated on 900 standards. Hospitals accredited by AAHA must demonstrate an exceptional level of medical care and client service and they are re-evaluated every three years to make sure they are keeping up with industry updates.
All of our surgeries at FAH are performed with a laser. Routine surgeries, which include spays and neuters, are scheduled on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Most pets are fasted the night before with no food or water after 8:00 pm. A hospital surgical patient information and surgical consent form will be mailed to you or you may pick it up at our office. Please bring completed surgery admission form with you on the day of your pet’s surgery. You may fax or mail it to us prior to surgery.
